Background Acting in Georgia
Georgia has become one of the most recognizable names in American film and television production, and Atlanta is often mentioned alongside Los Angeles and New York when people talk about where scenes get made.
Regional overview
Productions in Georgia range from large studio features to streaming series, music videos, and regional commercials. Many people who live in or near metro Atlanta first hear about background work through word of mouth or online casting notices.
Outside Atlanta, historic towns and coastal settings such as Savannah attract productions looking for distinctive architecture and scenery.
For current opportunities, follow the casting company's latest notices and application instructions.
