Background Acting in North Carolina

Mountains, beaches, and small Southern towns make North Carolina a versatile filming location with a long production history.

Regional overview

Wilmington is well known for its studio history, while Charlotte and the surrounding region host commercial and series work.

Coastal, mountain, and city locations can require very different travel plans. Check where you would report and whether local availability or residency is required before applying.
