About
Privacy Policy
Information about your privacy when using Scene Seekers.
Effective date: October 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit Scene Seekers, follow links, or contact us. It covers Scene Seekers, not the independent websites and services we link to.
Information you provide
Scene Seekers does not offer visitor accounts, casting applications, payments, or newsletter subscriptions. Our contact form collects your name, email address, and message.
When you submit the contact form, your browser sends this information directly to Web3Forms, which processes the submission and delivers it to our receiving inbox. Web3Forms may also process connection information to deliver messages and prevent abuse. We use your message to respond to your inquiry, address a correction, or handle a privacy request. Please do not send identity documents, Social Security numbers, bank details, or casting applications.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, your browser requests pages, scripts, styles, and images from the hosting service. Hosting and delivery providers may process your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request timestamps to deliver the site, maintain security, and diagnose problems. Our GitHub Pages hosting is subject to GitHub's privacy practices.
We use Google Fonts to display Inter and Playfair Display. Your browser requests font styles and files from Google, which receives connection information such as your IP address. The provider policies linked below explain their handling of this information.
Cookies, browser storage, and analytics
Scene Seekers does not use its own visitor analytics tags, advertising pixels, or cookies to track your browsing. Directory searches, state selections, and expanded FAQs use temporary page state rather than a saved visitor profile.
Hosting providers and third-party services may process technical information under their own policies. If you follow an affiliate link, cookies or similar technologies may be used by the affiliate network or destination website. Your browser settings can limit cookies and other site permissions; those settings may affect how third-party services work.
Affiliate links and third-party tracking
Scene Seekers may earn a commission when you purchase through our affiliate links, at no additional cost to you.
Our Project Casting affiliate links take you through the AWIN network. The link identifies the affiliate relationship, destination, and referring page; Scene Seekers does not include your name or email address in that page reference.
AWIN and Project Casting may process referral and transaction information and use cookies or similar technologies to attribute a purchase. Their privacy policies and available choices govern that processing. Scene Seekers does not control their accounts, payment systems, or tracking settings.
External websites
Links to film offices, casting companies, and other resources lead to independently operated websites. Depending on your browser settings, a destination may receive referral information indicating that you came from Scene Seekers. Review that website's privacy policy before submitting information or creating an account.
Information sharing
Hosting, Web3Forms, and email providers process information involved in delivering the website and contact messages. Affiliate networks and destination websites separately process information when you use their links or services. Scene Seekers does not forward your contact messages to Project Casting or AWIN as part of an affiliate referral.
Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or necessary to address security issues or protect legal rights.
Data retention and security
Contact correspondence may be retained to respond to an inquiry and maintain a record of the issue. Retention can vary with the purpose of the correspondence and applicable obligations; hosting, Web3Forms, email, and affiliate providers have their own retention practices.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Limit the personal information you include in a message and do not send sensitive documents. A request to remove information from Scene Seekers does not automatically remove records held by independent providers.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can browse without submitting the contact form, choose whether to follow external or affiliate links, and manage cookies and site permissions through your browser.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information. Use our Contact page for inquiries or requests concerning information held by Scene Seekers. Describe your request without attaching sensitive documents. Requests about information held by another service should be directed to that service.
Children's privacy
Scene Seekers provides general educational information and does not offer accounts or application services for children. Children should not send personal information to us. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the contact form, contact us so the concern can be addressed. Young performers should involve a parent or guardian when contacting casting services.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our practices or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. For questions about this policy or a privacy concern, use our Contact page.
