About
About Scene Seekers
Scene Seekers helps everyday people discover extraordinary opportunities to become part of the entertainment they love.
What we do
We publish educational guides and location resources for first-time extras, aspiring professional background performers, and travelers exploring production markets across America. Learn what background work involves, how to prepare for a day on set, and where to look for local casting information.
Useful information, wherever you start
City guides connect you with local film offices and casting resources. Our Journal explores practical questions about income, memberships, and combining travel with background work. Casting-safety guidance helps you evaluate offers before sharing information or making plans.
Scene Seekers is an independent informational publication, not a casting agency. Casting companies and productions handle applications, selections, and bookings.
Our partner
Our primary affiliate partner is Project Casting, an entertainment casting platform. Scene Seekers is independent and is not an official Project Casting website.
