Travel first, scenes as a bonus
If your schedule is flexible, exploring different production markets can add a memorable layer to your travels. We recommend planning trips around places you genuinely want to visit, and treating any casting opportunity as a bonus — background work should not be relied on to fund travel.
Things to consider
- Some productions prefer or require local residents — read each notice carefully.
- Availability dates matter; only apply if you can truly be there.
- Lodging, transportation, and timing are your responsibility.
- Weather and seasons affect both travel and filming schedules.
