Background Acting in Washington

Washington pairs a competitive cash-back incentive with an established Pacific Northwest casting community centered on Seattle.

Regional overview

Washington Filmworks administers cash-back incentives for qualifying features, episodic series, and commercials filming anywhere in the state, with uplifts for rural counties.

Seattle is the state's production center, but incentive-backed projects film statewide — Spokane and rural locations appear regularly, so check where a Washington notice actually reports.

For current opportunities, follow the casting company's latest notices and application instructions.
