Background Acting in Texas

Texas is big enough to stand in for almost anywhere — modern skylines, small towns, open ranch land, and the Gulf Coast. That variety makes it a recurring choice for productions of all sizes.

Regional overview

Austin has a well-known creative community, while Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio each have their own production activity, from commercials to series work.

Distances in Texas are large, so travel time to set is a real consideration when you apply.
