Background Acting in Florida

Florida's production runs through regional film offices and local incentive programs rather than a statewide credit — Orlando, Miami, and Tampa are distinct markets.

Regional overview

Film Florida, a statewide industry association, tracks Florida's incentive programs, which are county and city based — Orange County's film and television incentive is one example.

Orlando's market is shaped by the theme park and tourism industries, while Miami and Tampa have their own casting communities. Always confirm which Florida market a notice concerns.
