Background Acting in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania's production activity anchors on two distinct markets — Pittsburgh in the west and Philadelphia in the east — with very different looks and separate casting communities.
Regional overview
The Pennsylvania Film Office supports production statewide, and the Pittsburgh Film Office maintains casting notices and talent directories for the western part of the state.
Because the two major markets sit hours apart, always check which city a statewide notice actually concerns before making plans.
For current opportunities, follow the casting company's latest notices and application instructions.
